my girl lost her battle today to cancer she went peacefully at home. she had gone downhill after lumps were found on her belly and they turned out to be tumours. she stopped eating a few days ago after been on fluid tablets she lost alot of weight all u could see was a sick sleepy girl. i hope she is happy now wherever she is and ill never forget her. two years had passed since she had her amputation of her left back leg that had cancer in it. i thought she had a bit longer in her. she was about to turn 16 this month i miss u my girl

I am so sorry for your loss. I know that Desi has met & found a lot of our Warriors & Princess Warriors. She is healthy & happy now. It will take awhile to not be sad. No one knows when that will be as this part of the journey is a personal one. We are all here to support both you & Matt.
There will be a time where you can look at her pictures and smile instead of cry. She fought a great fight and one that didn’t include Chemo of any kind. She won the battle look at it that way Cancer didn’t win.

This is just so darn hard! I’m so sorry, so very, very sorry. Our heart hurts with yours. So sad.
Destiny was a well loved girl, thats for sure! She just adored you and adored her life!
Nope, never enough t k me. But I tell ua’ what, sweet Destiny will be a Beacon of Hope for senior dogs facing amputation for an eternity! TWO YEARS BEATING THAT ROTTEN DISEASE…AS A SENIOR……WITHOUT CHEMO OR ANY OTHER TREATMENT…..OMD!!! This girl is a LEGEND around here!
I do hope you can stay connected and continue to share her story and inspire others. Her life affirming legacy is so important.
Almost sixteen years of loving and spoiling and living life to the fulllest! This girl had THE best time! The thousands and thousands of days of memories will soon help push the sadness further and further away. It won’t happen quickly, but it will happen.
Destiny will let you know she’s okay and feeling vibrant and healthy. She’s got so many balls to play with, she may have too much fun at first to connect with you right away!i! Look for her messages…they’ll be there.
Destiny’s life mattered and she touched us all. Thank you for the privilege of getting to know her…and you. What a great team!

I am so sorry to hear this. 16 years old and 2 of them kicking cancers butt. I agree with Sally, she is a legend here. I know it hurt a lot right now. As time goes by, the good memories will start to pop into your mind and you will begin to smile when you think of her. I know, right now it just plain hurts. She is at the bridge now with so many other Angels, playing ball, eating unlimited treats and I know one Labby boy up there that will play tug of war with his shoe with her. She fought such a long, brave battle Nat. I know that she is running free, with no pain, all like a big puppy who will watch over you every day. Your bond can never be broken.
